Abstract:
In today’s digital world, social networks play a critical role in providing support and sharing information for women facing reproductive problems. This paper presents the positive and negative aspects of social media on the mental health of women with infertility, miscarriages and chronic conditions such as endometriosis. While social networks offer platforms for creating communities and exchanging emotional support, they can also cause increased anxiety and depression through comparisons and the spread of misinformation. In order to minimize the negative effects, this paper proposes education on critical thinking and safe use of social networks, which can help women use these platforms in a way that supports their mental health.
