Abstract: The noise that people are exposed to on a daily basis is one of the
biggest problems that man faces, regardless of whether it is in the work or residential environment. For those reasons, people are increasingly concerned with addressing the negative impact of noise. by raising the consciousness to a higher level, which will fully cooperate with all the legal regulations that refer to this kind of problem. The World Health Organization has made an estimate according to which the upper limit for noise safety during an eight-hour working time is 80 dB. The impact of noise on health can be direct and indirect, whereby the direct impact results in damage to the organs of hearing and balance, while the indirect impact has negative effects on the nervous, circulatory, digestive, endocrine, cardiovascular, and other systems. In this paper, research was conducted on people’s awareness of the dangers and harms caused by exposure to noise. The results show a moderate level of awareness and information among the respondents about the negative impact of noise on human health.
