{"id":810,"date":"2015-09-03T13:58:27","date_gmt":"2015-09-03T11:58:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/konferencii.msu.edu.mk\/?p=810"},"modified":"2019-02-08T11:49:58","modified_gmt":"2019-02-08T10:49:58","slug":"second-day-of-the-international-philosophical-dialogue-east-west","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/konferencii.msu.edu.mk\/?p=810&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Second day of the International Philosophical Dialogue: EAST \u2013 WEST"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The First International Philosophical Dialogue: EAST \u2013 WEST on the subject \u201cScience and Religion\u201d was held in the period of 2 to 4 September, in Skopje, Sveti Nikole and Ohrid, with participation of prominent philosophers from Russia, Great Britain, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Greece, Albania and Macedonia.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">From 2 to 4 September in Skopje, Sveti Nikole and Ohrid for the first time was organized International Philosophical Dialogue &#8220;EAST &#8211; WEST&#8221;, with subject &#8220;Science and Religion&#8221;. The event is organized by the Macedonian Academy of Science and Arts, the <a href=\"http:\/\/msu.edu.mk\">International Slavic University \u201cG. R. Derzhavin\u201d Sveti Nikole \u2013 Bitola<\/a> and the Philosophical Society of Macedonia. Eminent philosophers from Russia, Great Britain, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Greece, Albania and Macedonia are part from this dialogue. R. Derzhavin&#8221; Sveti Nikole \u2013 Bitola<\/a>, Professor Dr. Dushan Nikolovski:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>\u201cThe complex issues of the relation between science and religion deserves special attention in the present context, when everyone is thinking about his own existence and the nature of things.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8799\" src=\"http:\/\/msu.edu.mk\/web\/msu\/wp-content\/uploads\/11148738_1045427682134644_2322361897830282836_n.jpg\" alt=\"11148738_1045427682134644_2322361897830282836_n\" width=\"960\" height=\"640\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8801\" src=\"http:\/\/msu.edu.mk\/web\/msu\/wp-content\/uploads\/11949365_1045427988801280_3990918482237021815_n.jpg\" alt=\"11949365_1045427988801280_3990918482237021815_n\" width=\"960\" height=\"640\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8800\" src=\"http:\/\/msu.edu.mk\/web\/msu\/wp-content\/uploads\/11947673_1045425662134846_4587994351465033221_n.jpg\" alt=\"11947673_1045425662134846_4587994351465033221_n\" width=\"960\" height=\"640\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8798\" src=\"http:\/\/msu.edu.mk\/web\/msu\/wp-content\/uploads\/11954693_1045427772134635_7362443916748008176_n.jpg\" alt=\"11954693_1045427772134635_7362443916748008176_n\" width=\"960\" height=\"640\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8797\" src=\"http:\/\/msu.edu.mk\/web\/msu\/wp-content\/uploads\/11951270_1045425985468147_1140056436512619791_n.jpg\" alt=\"11951270_1045425985468147_1140056436512619791_n\" width=\"960\" height=\"640\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the second session, the dialogue continued with presentations from Igor Evlampiev &#8211; professor at the Faculty of History of Russian Philosophy at the <strong>University of St. Petersburg<\/strong>, Maria Selak &#8211; professor at the Faculty of Philosophy at the <strong>University of Zagreb<\/strong>, Mikolaj Slavkov &#8211; lecturer at the Department of Philosophy at the <strong>University of Oxford<\/strong>, Risto Solunchev &#8211; professor at the Faculty of Philosophy at the <strong>University &#8220;Ss.
